Dokino is an Mongolian Illustrator/Fine Artist living and working in New York City.
She has two very distinct styles of art— Fashion illustration and Surreal Fine Art Painting. Both include similar sensibilities but with very contrasting styles. The illustrations are simple, bright-saturated colors, intricate line work and strong graphic patterns while the paintings include traditional, realistic style with surreal content.
Her primary source for inspiration comes from her interest in different cultural arts and the diversity of natural organic beings. Her art is characterized by vibrant saturated colors, pattern design and central compositions.
Dokino has a wide scope of clients ranging from pattern design, illustration, printmaking, apparel design, greeting cards and editorial art and jewelry design.
Dokino was invited to speak at a TEDx event in Mongolia, speaking on the subject matter of Illustration and Education.
She has exhibited her artwork in group exhibitions and solo shows in number of galleries in Mongolia and United States. As well as Pop-up style shows, art fairs and open studios.
She had earned her BFA in Illustration from Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University.
